Billing questions
- How do I pay?
- By card through Stripe, in US dollars. We never see or store your full card number.
- Does my plan renew automatically?
- No. Plans are prepaid for a month or a year and do not auto-renew. We remind you by email and in the app 7 days before the end date.
- What happens when I upgrade?
- The new plan starts immediately. The unused value of your current plan is converted into extra days on the new plan, so you never pay twice for the same time.
- Can I downgrade?
- Not during an active period. When your plan ends you can pick any plan, including Free.
- What happens to my data if the plan expires?
- It stays. Your account returns to the Free plan and books beyond its limit become read-only until you renew. Nothing is deleted unless you ask us to.
